Just had THE most incredible experience of my entire life, wow. I mean… wow.
I decided to go on a mountain drive today and drove farther than I’ve ever gone to see the ice caps and take a pretty photo and relax idk. My phone died on the way but I didn’t really care and kept driving along and eventually spotted the most beautiful patch of forest on the side of the road. I parked in a turn-out close to it and ventured inward. It was gooorgeous. I went pretty damn far inside until I found the perfect rock to sit on and began to clear my chakras and then meditate. I had meditated for about 15-20 minutes when I opened my eyes and saw a gigantic black bear sitting in front of me, no less than 7 feet away. I was fucking terrified but didn’t move a muscle or make a sound. Now you’re supposed to avoid direct eye contact with bears but this fella was looking straight into me. After about 30(??) minutes I looked back and we both sat there stone still for an amount of time I really cannot recall, just looking at each other. He or she then got up, turned around and retreated.
I thought a good portion of the bears in CO were supposed to be in hibernation by now but I guess it’s still warm… anyway, fuck. I’ve never felt that way before in my life. From complete terror to an unsettling calm to a connection… The ultimate link with nature. Also I’m feeling pretty thankful to be alive, I’m still shaking real hard haha. Just had to share that with everyone
Too much life in my life I wish to lay on my floor and think about blankness for eternity until I become it
